Helikopter service from 1980
w/o 24jun83 at Gaustatoppen, Telemark
The wreck of OSR was placed outside a hangar at Bomoen airport in Voss,Norway and was later sold til Canada and rebuilt, but if it flies today i don't know.I know well the pilot Per Julnes who was flying this machine, when the tailrotor axle snapped and it enden up in a mountainside at Gaustadtoppen in Norway, the tail snapped of but the fuselage were in remarkably good condition and was lifted from the mountain by a Boeing 234LR from Helicopter Service, who also owned the wrecked machine.
The airframe was sold to Transwest Helicopters in Chilliwack Canada. It was stored for a few years until the airframe was used to repair 214B c/n 28044 HL9171 in 2005 which belonged to a Korean operator (dataplate swap). Unfortunately it crashed March 19, 2020 in Korea
