1988-1991, I was the crew chief at Company A, 3rd Battalion, 4th Aviation Regiment. This unit was previouly Company A, 8th Combat Aviation Battalion
1989 asg Mainz-Finthen, Germany, I became crew chief and named this Cobra "The Rude Dude" No grass grows where the Rude Dude goes During that time this aircraft won "Top Gun" honors twice in a row in 1989 and 1990. Also, it was the first combat aircraft to enter Berlin since WW2 during a static display in 1990
