The Museum of Army Flying (MOAF)is located here with a wide and varied collection of historical aircraft used by the British Army, both rotary and fixed-wing. The museum is open daily from 1000hrs to 1630hrs (last entry at 1600hrs). Middle Wallop is also the base for the Army Air Corps Historic Aircraft Flight/Army Air Corps Reserve Collection Trust. No access is available for public inspection without prior permission, however the Flight can been seen at a number of Airshows throughout the year. Also based is the No.2 (Training) Aircrew Technical Training Detachment/70 Aircraft Workshops working as a detachment from the SEAE at Arborfield, Berkshire. The Westland Gazelle (SA341B Gazelle AH.1) is due to remain in British Army Service until 2018.
