Benefiting from the XH-59 (Advancing Blade Concept) and X-49A experiences, the high-speed helicopter technology demonstrator made its first flight at the Schweizer Aircraft facility on August 27, 2008. Is a single-engined fly-by-wire aircraft that features coaxial rotors and a pusher propeller.
