The V-280 Valor is Bells third generation tilt-rotor designed for the the US Army’s Joint Multi-Role (JMR) / Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programme which search for a UH-60 Blackhawk replacement from 2030. The V-280 will cruise at 280kts (519km/h) carrying 11 passengers with a mission radius of over 250nm (463km). Prototype is expected to fly in 2017.
