Sycamore Mk.52







The Sycamore Mk. 52 was an export version for West Germany, based on the Sycamore 4. Federal German Government placed an order for 50 Sycamore Mk.52 on 8 Mar 1957. The first two were delivered to West Germany on 31 May 1957 and the final one in Mar 1959.
Following retirement from German military service, at least 4 were acquired by various agencies of government. The Feuerwehrflugdienst Niedersachsen den Flugbetrieb (Lower Saxony fire service air unit) used one until 1985.
