Eurocopter EC135

Twin-engine helicopter widely used amongst police, ambulance services and for executive transport. Originally developed by MBB from their Bo.108, was handed over to the new company Eurocopter in the 1990s incorporating the Fenestron tail rotor in the process. First flight achieved on February 15, 1994. The EC135 has been powered by a Turbomeca Arrius or by a Pratt & Whitney Canada PW206 and is equipped with a bearingless main rotor.

Manufactured at German site in Donauworth with first production aircraft (D-HQQQ) delivered on August 1st, 1996 to DRF. The 1000th EC135 was rolled out in 2011.

From January 1st, 2014 is known as Airbus Helicopters H135
