Scandinavian AirAmbulance, November 30, 2016 - Scandinavian AirAmbulance and Scandinavian MediCopter have run fixed wing and helicopter ambulance services in Sweden and Finland since the early 2000 and has been a part of Babcock International since 2014.
By being a part of Babcock International, the Scandinavian companies have enjoyed benefits of the group’s size, but also the competence of sister companies in the United Kingdom, Spain, Australia etc. also predominantly specialists in air ambulance activities.
From 30 November 2016 the Scandinavian companies have joined the group’s brand and renamed. This means that wherever you see the Babcock brand, you will find Scandinavian AirAmbulance quality.
Name changes to companies :
- Scandinavian MediCopter AB changes name to Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulance AB, which means that the Finnish branch equally changes its name.
- Scandinavian AirAmbulance AB changes name to Babcock SAA FW AB.
- The holding company Scandinavian AirAmbulance Holding AB changes name to Babcock Scandinavia AB.
