Helis, February 10, 2017 - Dublin - CHC Ireland to build a new hangar for their SAR S-92 helicopters operated on behalf the Irish Coast Guard reports the Irish Independent.
Work is set to start next month for the 2,000 Sq m hangar to replace the current one of 596 Sq m and to be completed by summer 2018.
CHC currently operates 5 Sikorsky S-92 helicopters under a 10-years €500M Government contract started in 2012 from bases in Dublin, Shannon, Waterford and Sligo.
Operating 24/7 they completed 886 missions in 2016.
