Bell Kaman Agreement for UH-1Y / AH-1Z Components

Kaman Aerosystems has been awarded an extension to its current contract with Bell Helicopter to manufacture skin and skin to core components for the Bell UH-1Y and AH-1Z helicopters.

Kaman, March 26, 2015 - LOOMFIELD, Conn. - Kaman Corporation announced today that its Aerosystems division has been awarded an extension to its current contract with Bell Helicopter to manufacture skin and skin to core components for the Bell UH-1Y and AH-1Z helicopters.

This five-year follow on contract has an expected value in excess of $25 million.

The components will continue to be manufactured at the Kaman Composite Structures facility in Bloomfield, Connecticut.

Kaman has now secured long term commitments to supply Bell with skin and skin to core components for both their commercial and military rotor requirements.
