H225M Caracal Successfully Passed Polish Army Tests
The Airbus Helicopters EC725/H225M Caracal successfully passed the Poland Armed Forces tests. Negotiations will now follow to allow starting of deliveries by 2017
Poland Ministry of Defence, May 28, 2015 - The verification group, which included experts and specialists in various fields both operational and technical give a positive opinion on the EC725 Caracal helicopter.
On May 27 were concluded the tests at the 33rd Air Base located near Powidz in the proceedings for the next multipurpose helicopter for the Armed Forces.
The tests were conducted based on the following official documents: The Program Checks, Checks Methodology, and Scheduler Checks. These documents have been prepared in such a way that they can be used in helicopters of any manufacturer.
The next step will be to negotiate provisions of the agreement with the contractor. At the same time will be sent to the Ministry of Economy information about the successful completion of the checks enabling the start of the negotiations. After negotiating the conditions and the sign of agreements will be possible to formulate a supply contract. Deliveries of the first helicopter equipped according to the requirements and in the amounts specified by the contracting authority will begin in 2017.
Negotiations will be focus in four major areas including: a common platform, the design of the helicopter, the helicopter performance and onboard equipment.
