Pratt & Whitney Canada, July 20, 2004 - FARNBOROUGH - Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. (P&WC) is pleased to announce that a growth version of the PW200 series turboshaft engine has been selected to power the Agusta Grand helicopter.
Designated the PW207C, this engine is one of the higher power members of the PW200 engine family that already powers almost all new generation light twin helicopters.
Over 1000 PW200 engines have been delivered to date, with more than 1 million hours of in-service experience, achieving unsurpassed levels of durability and reliability.
The PW200 series, like all P&WC engines, is backed by P&WC's total customer support program. P&WC's worldwide services, developed over the years in support of P&WC's fleet of over 38,000 turbine engines in service, includes a network of field support representatives, factory-based technical support, a 24-hour help line for spares and logistics, dedicated customer training centres, and factory-owned and authorized independent service facilities.
