RAMM Aerospace, November 11, 2016 - RAMM Aerospace has announced the first of many Transport Canada (TCCA) approvals for its complete line of Robinson interior refurbishment kits.
The RAMM Aerospace TCCA supplemental type certificate (STC) SH16-38 provides R44 operators with several flooring options. In addition to replacement carpet kits, the STC also approves a precut utility flooring kit that is ideal for operators who are looking for an economical alternative to carpet. The coin embossed aviation vinyl flooring kit comes precut and ready for installation.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approvals are pending.
“With RAMM’s extensive aviation upholstery experience, deciding to design, certify and manufacture a complete interior refurbishment kit for the R44 was an easy decision. Based on input from both operators and maintenance facilities, we have been able to incorporate unique features into the kits reducing required maintenance,” said Peggy McDonald, VP of marketing and sales at RAMM Aerospace. “We will be offering the complete interior kit, everything from genuine leather or naugahyde replacement seats that are designed for added comfort to a headliner and bulkhead Kit that can be wiped clean.“
The RAMM R44 interior refurbishment kits will be stocked in blue, tan and grey. Custom colors will be available on request. R22 and R66 interior kits are also being considered.
