SevenBar, June 18, 2015 - SevenBar Aviation is pleased to announce that it has signed a purchase agreement to acquire Nebraska-based Rodgers Helicopter Service.
The purchase will close within the next few weeks.
Rodgers Helicopter Service is a privately held rotor wing operator located in Kearney, Neb. They own and operate a Bell 429 dedicated to CHI Good Samaritan Hospital, with whom they have enjoyed a 30+ year relationship. The two principals, Blair Rodgers and Ed Spillman, have maintained high levels of service excellence for their customer and are highly regarded within the Kearney community.
“Blair and Ed share many of the same values that we at SevenBar Aviation hold dear and we are very excited to have Rodgers Helicopter Service join the SevenBar family. We also feel very privileged to have the opportunity to work and partner with such an outstanding flight program and healthcare organization,” says SevenBar CEO Wade Black.
As part of the acquisition, SevenBar has finalized a long term agreement with CHI Good Samaritan to operate the Bell 429 on their behalf, and will work together on growing the program with additional fixed wing capabilities in the future.
“We look forward to continuing the excellent relationship that Blair and Ed have established,” says Kim Montgomery, president of SevenBar Aviation. “I am very excited to see our company growing through such a mutually beneficial acquisition while adding an important new customer to our group of outstanding health care providers.”
