Waypoint Leasing, April 14, 2015 - Limerick, Ireland – Waypoint Leasing (Ireland) Limited, the largest independent global helicopter leasing company, today announced the opening of its Singapore office, which is headed by Waypoint executive Philip Stransky.
Waypoint’s Singapore office will further bolster the firm’s presence across the Asia Pacific region, where it has already delivered nine aircraft to leading regional operators, including Bond Helicopters Australia, Hevilift and National Utility Helicopters.

Mr. Stransky has worked in Singapore for five years and has seven years of global upstream oil and gas experience, ultimately focused on business development and contract negotiation. Prior to joining Waypoint, Mr. Stransky served as the Asia Area Manager for SEACOR Marine, where he sourced and evaluated firm-wide business opportunities in the region and established a framework for regional joint ventures in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Prior to that, Mr. Stransky worked for SEACOR Marine in Mexico, where served as the Country Manager, as well as in Europe, the U.S. and Africa. Mr. Stransky holds a BA in History and Government from Connecticut College and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
