Heading for Egypt during an English Channel gale, the cargo of the 11900 ton Pakistan registered mv Muree shifted holing her bow and causing her to list, on 28 Oct 1989.

Three SAR helicopters were in attendance, including 2 from 771 NAS. The 40 crew and passengers were winched aboard, just before she finally sank.
