After Islamic revolation in 1978 two European civil helicopter companies, Bristow and Helikopter Service, left Iran. Iranian personal and management started to operate Sazemane Khadamate Helicopteri.
As of 2004, several inshore and offshore operations are active with their maintenance and logistics as well. Is own by the Iranian Government and operates according to ICAO rules.
