Established 1963 in Cologne, Air Lloyd Deutsche Pflanzenschutz Fluggesellshaft GmbH offered helicopter services from Bonn-Hangelar (EDKB). In 1992 the maintenance division, Air Lloyd LTB ALT (Air Lloyd Luftfahrt Technik GmbH) was acquired by the German Automobile Club (ADAC) becoming its maintenance subsidiary.
