Formed on 1 Jul 1983 and based at Innsbruck Airport until 2005. In spring 2005 it moved to the purpose built Flugrettungszentrum West (West Air Rescue Centre) a few hundred metres to the south, but still within the airport boundary.

HeliAir Upgrades ÖAMTC EC135T3 Air Ambulance
05-Feb-19 - HeliAir converted the first Austrian Air Ambulance (ÖAMTC) EC135T2+ to the EC135T3 (H135) type. Also fitted interior with Kokon (Cocoon) design. More ÖAMTC helicopters to follow #conversion
