Formed, as Army Aviation Regiment 26 ,the third Anti-Tank-Helicopter Regiment, in October 1979 at Roth, since December 1980 operating the MBB Bo-105 P (PAH 1, later PAH 1A1)
in 2 Squadrons (1./261 and the 2./261).
In 2003 renamed as Attack Helicopter Regiment and designated as 2nd Operator for the Eurocopter TIGER.  |
