Formed in Jun 1999 to operate the RSAF Chinook on home territory. CH-47Ds had previously been located at Dallas-Grand Prairie, Texas for familiarisation training, 127 Squadron is based at Sembawang (WSAG) to the north of Singapore Island. Also now operates the CH-47SD, the model Ds returning to the USA.  |
