Formed 14 Sep 1918 as a bombing unit and disbanded just after World War I. Reformed at Peshawar in Apr 1942 and disbanded again on 31 Aug 1946 with Spitfire XIVs at Medan (WIMM). Reformed with Whirlwind HAR.4s on 1 Sep 1954 at Kuala Lumpur providing CASEVAC and transport services to the Army and Police in Malaya, until it was merged with 194 Squadron and renumbered as 110 Squadron on 3 Jun 1959.  |
