I served with 668 Squadron in 1970 it used to be called 13flt, everyone came from different units and the name change happened in early 1971 before i returned to my unit this was a special time as there was a secret war going on. C Squadron 22 SAS used our helicopters for training high altitude jumps. We crossed the dessert on foot i think it was 150 mile in 72 hrs a race against the Scots Guards. You should find information by searching 13flt RAF. Can you help with helicopter engine failure dates?
