2019-oct Oct 2019, was due to move to Birkenhead for Cammell-Laird refit to correct the recurring Propulsion defects with the entire Type 45 fleet, as first ship of the Power Improvement Project . Postponed until at least Apr 2020.
2020-may-07RefitRefit Cammell Laird PIP remediation Arrived in Birkenhead as first Type 45 destroyer to enter the Power Improvement Project (to improve reliability in both the WR21 gas turbine alternators (GTAs)) of the Royal Navys Project Napier. Departed Birkenhead on 14 Jun 2022.
2022-jun-22HomeportHomeport HMNB Portsmouth arrived back in Portsmouth after PIP remediation work.
2023-may-31DeploymentDeployment HMNB Portsmouth departed Portsmouth for Caribbean mission.
