1964-feb-16	Deployment	Deployment departed HMNB Devonport for Far East deployment, relieving HMS Berwick and HMS Dido en route, mainly patrolling near Indonesia and Malaysia. Departed 12 Aug 1965 in company with HMS Chichester and returned to Plymouth on 9 Sep 1965. Relieved en route by HMS Londonderry.
1966-jan-11	Deployment	Deployment departed HMNB Devonport for Far East deployment, returning 28 Jul 1966.
1966-mar	Deployment	Deployment Mozambique Channel Beira Beira Patrol off Mozambique to enforce UN sanctions against Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). Intercepted the Joanna V (Greek registered) oil tanker during Apr.

1981-may	Homeport	Homeport relocated to HMNB Rosyth, from HMNB Devonport
1981-nov-05	Port Visit	Port Visit Trinity Pier visited Millbay Docks 5-9 Nov 1981, with Wasp HAS.1 XT429/445 embarked.
1982-apr-02	Deployment	Deployment Operation Corporate Ordered to South Atlantic from exercise as part of the Advanced Group. Key role in South Georgia operations. Seriously damaged in air attack on 8 Jun 1982. Departed theatre in company with HMS Glamorgan on 29 Jun 1982. Returned to HMNB Rosyth on 24 Jul 1982, for refit.
1982-apr-14	Deployment	Deployment Grytviken Operation Paraquat Joined with HMS Antrim, HMS Endurance and RFA Tidespring for recovery of South Georgia.
