  • What kinds of fuel are used in helicopters ?

    Most turbine powered aircraft, ie Jet Ranger, Huey, Bell 206, all use Jet Fuel (the same as an airliner) called JET A, JET A-1 or MIL Specs JP-4, JP-5, JP-8.
    Piston powered aircraft use typical civilian av-gas (high octane AVGAS)
