CHC Signs Agreement For Repair And Overhaul Of Super Pumas Worldwide

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA( CHC Press Release ) - CHC Helicopter Corporation announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Helikopter Service of Norway has entered into a memorandum of agreement with Eurocopter for the repair and overhaul of dynamic components of Super Puma MKI and MKII helicopters. This memorandum of agreement will lead to the issuing of a licence to Helikopter Service to repair and overhaul the 500 Super Puma MKI and MKII helicopters operated by commercial operators and military fleets worldwide.

The memorandum of agreement, signed by Mr. Craig Dobbin, CHC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Dr. Siegfried Sobotta, Eurocopter Co-chairman at the HAI convention in Las Vegas today, expands an existing licence agreement for the repair and overhaul of Super Puma MKI helicopters operating in Scandinavia and within CHC's own fleet of Super Pumas.

This expanded licence enables Helikopter Service to further expand its engineering and logistic design capabilities at its fully equipped, 150,000-square foot repair and overhaul facility in Stavangar, Norway. Helikopter Service provides a comprehensive, one-stop-shopping service for all overhaul and repair requirements of Super Puma MKI and MKII helicopters.
