A 504th became the 349th Aviation Company, 16th Aviation Bn. soon after. 007 was reassigned to another outfit. We missed it because of the tail number being "007". I remember it well. When it crashed it killed all on board. It threw a main rotor blade. All H-34's in NATO were grounded. All rotor blades were examined. I was the Crewchief on CH-34 54-3005 at that time. "005" had 3 out of 4 bad blades. It really woke all of us up.
