This was my plane in 1987 when I deployed with HMM-263 on the USS Guadalcanal (LPH-7) to the Med. We sailed though the Suez Canal and ended up in Diego Garcia where our ship was diverted to the Persian Gulf for anti-mine sweeping operations. My plane was sent back to the Med for deployment on the USS Austin (LPD-4). HMM-263 | |||
