. I was crew chief on this aircraft in Vietnam in 1968 it was assigned to the 140th Transportation Detachment which was attached to the 117th Assault Helicopter Company. We were stationed in Bien Hoa in January and then transferred to the “Plantation “ at Long Bien in April of that year. This was the maintenance aircraft and only used for combat missions when there was a need for an extra aircraft. The ship suffered some damage due to enemy fire but nothing was logged into record for company reasons I will not go into here. This is the first I have tried to locate this aircraft in more than 56 years and was surprised to find a listing for her. It is good to know it had a life after Vietnam. Ken Drolsum
