1977-1979, I was crew chief at Nellingen Barracks in Nellingen, Germany. This aircraft was our Non-Standard helicopter used for mostly training be it VFR or IFR. This aircraft was the workhorse for the 394th Transportation Battalion. Running landings, Autorotations, Stuck Pedals, Hydraulics Off etc. 70-15745 did it all. I was 19 years old then but I am 63 years old now. Great memories of my first aircraft good old 70-15745. Not sure where the aircraft is now.
