1951 A EGHIsecond of two Skeeter 3 funded by Ministry of Supply as a development airframe. First flight at Eastleigh in .
1951-10 B EGDM Trials trials for Army at A&AEE, mediocre results
1952-01 C HMS Siskin Trials with 705 NAS to Gosport for trials with 705 NAS, until c Feb 1952
1952-03after RN trials, re-engined Mar 1952 with the Cirrus Bombardier 702 engine and re-designated as a Skeeter 3B.
1953-03 B EGDM Trials To A&AEE during Mar 1953, but resonance problems remained. Aeroplane & Armaments Experimental Establishment
1953-05 A EGHI Destroyed after further resonance reduction research and modification, the aircraft destroyed itself in May 1953, during a ground run trial due to resonance. This was the catalyst for the Ministry of Supply removing further funding from the whole Skeeter programme, until SARO had resolved the problem.
