I was the radioman on duty at the air station when this crash occured. They were flying out to bring in a child with a head injury from a village. We sent a C-130 to look for them after they failed to make radio contact. The c-130 found the wreakage burning. I remember how the CO of the airsta looked right through me as I informed him there were no survivors, like his mind was a million miles away, with his lost crew. | |||
