This is Turkey's first national turboshaft engine, developed by TEI (TUSAŞ Engine Industries) and designed specifically to replace foreign engines and remove export restrictions (ITAR-free). The American/British engine LHTEC CTS800-4A/4AT was used to power the Gökbey prototypes and the first production units. |
