The Gorm field was discovered in 1971 and has similar geology to the Dan Field, further to the south east. It was brought into production in May 1981 and c 8 years later, water injection began to maintain oil flows. It exports some gas to the Skjold and Rolf fields for gas lift injection into their fields.
