St Georges Barracks was conveniently situated, immediately SE of the Pembroke Rifle Range, overlooking St Georges Bay. Between 1971 and Apr 1977, this was the base for the RM Sioux AH.1 supporting 41 Commando (stationed at nearby St Andrews Barracks), initially as 41 CDO Air Troop RM and then as Salerno Flt, 3 CBAS.
