First known as Changhe Z-8F-100, the AC313 is a commercial transport capable for 27 passengers with a maximum range of 900 kilometers. Powered by 3 Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6B-67A engines (1,200 shp each), has composite main rotor blades, a modern avionics suite and a maximum takeoff weight of 13.8 tonnes.
Performed first flight in Jingdezhen City on March 18, 2010 and received the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) certification on January 4, 2012. Flying Dragon Special Aviation announced as the launch customer.
