Envisioned as a 11 ton class replacement for the AS332/EC225 Super Puma family, was first scheduled to enter service around 2022. In 2017 the European Commission approved a 377M Euros refundable launch aid. In January 2018 was announced the program was halt and possible to become something quite different after the offshore oil and gas segment market collapse.
