Single engine derivative of the A109, the Koala is a eight-seat utility helicopter which first flew in February 1995. The prototypes were originally powered by Turbomeca Arriel 2K1 turboshafts but the production aircraft used the Pratt Whitney Canada PT6B

NYPD AW119 Fleet Achieve 20,000 Hour Milestone

26-Jun-12 - AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, is pleased to announce that the AW119 helicopter fleet operated by the New York Police Department is the worldwide law enforcement fleet leader, having achieved over 20,000 flying hours on the fleet and more than 6,000 on their fleet leader.
