In August 2014, Nigeria obtained two AW101 in white livery from the 12 originally intended for the Indian Air Force to be used for for VIP presidential transport mission.
In Octoboer 2016 both helicopters were handed over to the Air Force and painted in brown tone camouflage
In November 2016, one crashed on landing at Makurdi ending lying on her side.
