The Ostereichische Luftstreitkrafte (Austrian Air Force) ordered 2 Sikorsky S-65C-2 heavy transport helicopters in 1969. Sikorsky built these on the CH-53D airframe and engines, but without the inflight refueling probe. They were delivered in Sep 1970 and served with 2 Staffel, HelikopterGeswader 3 until 15 May 1981 when they were sold to Israel.
