| Following some experimental work using 2 pre-production machines during the Algerian conflict in Aug 1961, eventually 84 production Alouette III variants in total (82x SE3160 and 2x SA319B), served with the ALAT. Deliveries were between Jan 1961 and Oct 1970. The final unit (l’Escadrille de Haute Montagne, at Gap) retired its Alouette III in Nov 1998.  |
