Flyvevåbnet S-61 H-3

First entered service in April 1965, the Sea Kings were used to provide Search and Rescue cover.  Operated by esk 722 from the Vaerlose AB.  Started to be replaced by the EH101 Merlin in 2005. 


Last danish Sea King helicopter has been retired june 16th, 2010
Following their retirement, the remaining 7 S-61s and their spares were sold in mid 2011, to the USA for refurbishment.
