First aircraft received in 1991, the HE.24 as is known in Spanish service, is used by Ala 78 at Armilla, Granada in the Instrument flight training course. They are also used for medical evacuation.

A ninth (S-76A) unit was donated to the EdA by Sikorsky after an accident, and used by ALA.78 for a time as a G.I. Airframe. It is now a monument / sculpture on a pole at a roundabout in southern Granada in full ALA.78 marks, although it never served.
