    Bharatiya Nau Sena Ka-31 Helix

    The Ka-31 is an Airborne Early Warning (AEW) and Control helicopter upgraded from the older Ka-29. India ordered the Ka-31 in 3 batches of 4 (in 1999), 5 (2001) and 5 (2009). First deliveries by Apr 2003, second completed by Dec 2004 and third batch in progress (2 to complete by Sep 2013).
