AMGH signs deal for 30 Bell helicopters






Bell Helicopter, March 06, 2013 - Fort Worth, TX. - Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company, today announced an agreement for the sale of 30 Bell helicopters - 24 Bell 407 and six Bell 206L-4 helicopters - to Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH), one of the largest independent provider of helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) in the world. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2013 through 2018. This order marks one of the largest orders in the recent history of HELI-EXPO.

AMGH subsidiary Air Evac Lifeteam is a West Plains, Missouri-based provider of air ambulance services to rural communities across 14 states. Air Evac Lifeteam operates the world's largest fleet of over 100 medically-equipped Bell 206 LongRanger helicopters and has flown more than 220,000 people in critical need of care since its founding in 1985.

AMGH subsidiary Med-Trans, headquartered in Lewisville, Texas, is a leading national air medical provider focused on establishing partnerships with hospital systems, medical centers and EMS agencies through 20 programs, representing 36 bases, across 15 states. Med-Trans operates over 40 helicopters, comprised predominantly of Bell 407s.

AMGH subsidiary REACH Air Medical Services, headquartered in Santa Rosa, California, is a leading regional provider of medical transportation services in California, Oregon and Texas. The 18 strategically located bases allows REACH to provide those who they serve with timely access to high quality patient care. REACH's VFR fleet is entirely comprised of Bell 407's

With seven place seating and more than 2,000 lbs of useful load, the Bell 206L-4 delivers mission flexibility.
