VIH Aerospace, August 14, 2021 - North Saanich, BC, Canada - VIH Aerospace (VIHA), a leading provider of helicopter manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MMRO) services has received Transport Canada supplemental type certificate (STC) approval for their H135 left-hand vertical (Bubble) reference window.
STC 09-43 was previously approved by Transport Canada, the FAA, and EASA for the right-hand configuration and now with the left-hand configuration receiving Transport Canada approval, the FAA and EASA approvals are pending.
Marc Leduc, VIHA MRO sales manager stated, “This new Airbus Helicopter H135 crew bubble window adds to our very popular H135 right-hand window and becomes a welcome addition to our existing bubble window offerings including Bell 407, Sikorsky S-92 and Airbus Super Puma AS332/H225 family.”
Arne Arneson, VIHA general manager, added, “Adding the left-hand configuration to our previously approved right-hand configuration will provide H135 operators with an unrestricted visibility from both cockpit seats, ensuring improved visibility and safer helicopter operations.”
