iAERO, March 28, 2026 - MUSKOKA, ON – iAERO has introduced its new Camera Arm Mount Kit for the Leonardo AW139, an external mounting solution engineered to support EO/IR sensor operations.
The system has been designed for rapid installation and easy reconfiguration, enabling operators to integrate mission-critical sensor capabilities while preserving safety, reliability, and operational flexibility.
The kit can be installed in the field in under three hours without the need for specialized tools. It supports a wide range of leading turret systems, including those from :
- FLIR Systems,
- Wescam,
- Shotover,
- Trakka Systems,
- Cloud Cap Technology,
- Overwatch Imaging, and
- Controp Precision Technologies.
Additional features include a quick-disconnect mechanism for rapid payload removal and reinstallation, compatibility with both left- and right-side mounting configurations, and construction from precision-machined, aircraft-grade aluminum.
Purpose-built for the AW139 platform, the mount supports payloads of up to 120 pounds while maintaining an installed weight below 40 pounds. The system is certified under designation SH22-29.
