Rostec, November 15, 2021 - For the first time in the history of Russian Helicopter holding, part of Rostec State Corporation, will demonstrate six full-scale models abroad during the international exhibition Dubai Airshow 2021.

The aircraft will be presented both at the static exposition and in the flight program of the air show. In particular, guests and exhibitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the Ka-226T and Ansat light multipurpose helicopters, the Ka-52 and Mi-28NE attack helicopters, as well as the Mi-171A2 multipurpose heavy helicopter.

One of the main attractions of Dubai Airshow 2021 will be the international premiere of the Mi-28NE attack helicopter - this variant of the "Night Hunter" has never been shown at foreign exhibitions before. It will be paired with another modern Russian attack helicopter, the Ka-52, which will take part in the Dubai Airshow for the first time.

Within the framework of the air show, the Mi-28NE and Ka-52 will demonstrate a rich flight program with elements of complex aerobatics and maneuvers used in real air combat. These new generation gunships are designed to destroy enemy tanks, armored and unarmored vehicles, manpower and helicopters in any weather conditions in day and night.

Another debutant of the Dubai Airshow 2021 will be the modernized Ka-226T light helicopter which is also being demonstrated abroad for the first time. Its premiere took place this year at the MAKS-2021 Moscow air show. Compared to previous models, the modernized Ka-226T has improved flight performance. In particular, the flight speed has been increased, the weight of an empty helicopter has been reduced, and the range of use has been increased.

The Ka-226T is distinguished by a low vibration level, ease and simplicity of control, the ability to take off and land on sites of minimal dimensions and high hover accuracy even when working with a load on an external sling. One of the key features of the updated Ka-226T is its adaptability for flying in the high altitudes thanks to which the modernization project received the working title "Climber".

Dubai Airshow 2021 will also be the site for the debut of the heavy multipurpose Mi-171A2 in the Middle East - potential customers from the UAE and other countries in the region will have a chance to get acquainted with the helicopter equipped with a luxury cabin.

At the end of the air show, the aircraft presented at the exhibition will be handed over to the first operator of the Mi-171A2 from the United Arab Emirates.

The Mi-171A2 helicopter has embodied the best qualities of the Mi-8/17 type machines, taking into account the achievements of modern aircraft manufacturing technologies. The main differences between the Mi-171A2 and previous version include more powerful and economical engines, a main rotor with composite blades of improved aerodynamics, an X-shaped tail rotor, a fundamentally new avionics, and an improved automatic control system. The Mi-171A2 can be effectively used in high-altitude conditions,

The light multipurpose helicopter Ansat will be presented at Dubai Airshow in two versions - with a medical module and with a VIP-cabin in the style of the Ausus brand.

At the same time, an Ansat in medical equipment will take part in the flight program of the air show and will demonstrate high performance characteristics that allow the aircraft to maneuver in a confined space, which is especially important when performing ambulance missions in dense urban areas.

The Ansat helicopter is equipped with two engines and can be used for passenger and VIP transportation, cargo delivery, environmental monitoring and as an air ambulance. The successfully completed high-altitude tests of Ansat confirmed the possibility of its operation in mountainous terrain at altitudes up to 3500 meters.
