Heli-One, June 28, 2022 - Heli-One, a leading provider of helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, has significantly strengthened its delivery portfolio after achieving certification as a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO).
Its operations in Poland have been formally approved under European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-CAMO regulations by the Polish Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
It positions Heli-One to provide new levels of support for customers internationally, underpinning safe and reliable performance of their assets.
Heli-One has become the first helicopter organisation in Poland to secure CAMO certification, which reinforces the status of the business’s base at Rzeszów as a global hub for service provision.
It has also received formal certification from the UK CAA and Cayman CAA, meaning any operator flying under UK CAA, Cayman Islands CAA (CAACI) or EASA approvals can use Heli-One for the CAMO function.
“This is another important step forward for Heli-One, underscoring our position at the forefront of MRO services in the global market,” says Carolyn Forsyth, General Manager, Sales, Commercial & Customer Support.
“With CAMO approval, we can now provide complete maintenance programme management support, in effect maintaining aircraft in an airworthy condition throughout their lifecycle and protecting safety and reliability in performance as well as optimizing maintenance costs. More than that, Heli-One Poland offers a one-stop shop solution for stored aircraft while CAMO’s integration into the organisation’s safety management system serves to add further value for customers.”
“It is another example of how, as a business, we are investing to advance our service portfolio and help ensure our customers deliver on their operational goals.”
